Getting Started

When you run the program for the first time, you see the Welcome Screen:

To start using Weight Loss Program, you should set your goal:

  1. Enter your current weight.
  2. Enter the weight you want to reach.
  3. Set the date by which you want to reach your goal weight.
  4. Click the Start button to save this information and begin using the program.

If you want to set your goal later, choose Ask Me Later. For detailed information on how to set your goal, see Setting a Goal.

After you have set your goal, Weight Loss Program starts to track your progress. Each day you enter the details of the food you consume and the activities you perform (to learn how to enter this information, see Adding Food to My Menu and Adding Activity to My Routine), as well as your current weight and body measurements. Weight Loss Program uses this data to calculate your caloric balance and give you recommendations on how you should adjust your intake and/or expenditure to reach your goal by the desired date.
