Weight Loss Program

A software tool that helps you control your weight.

Statistics

The Statistics feature allows you to track and monitor your weight change progress over time. This is the section where Weight Loss Program stores recorded information on your intake, expenditure, balance, body measurements and your goals starting from the date when you set your first goal.

To see this information, go to Statistics in the main menu and choose Intake-Expenditure, Body Measurements or Goals History. You will see a window with three tabs.

Intake-Expenditure Tab

Statistics: Intake-Expenditure

On this tab, you can see the calories you consumed and burned daily, as well as your caloric balance for each day and the nutrient content of the food you added to My Menu.

To view all the data on your intake and expenditure starting from the day you set your first goal, select the All radio button.

To view the data over a specific time range (for example, for the last week, or month, or a couple of days), select the Time range radio button and choose the From and To dates in the drop-down calendars.

Note: nutrient content (fats, carbohydrates, etc.) is shown in grams regardless of the units you have chosen in Preferences or on the Welcome Screen.

Body Measurements Tab

Statistics: Body Measurements

This tab shows a record of the changes in your body measurements (weight and circumferences).

Each section is divided into three columns where you see three numbers.

The first number is the measurement proper. The second is the difference between the current and the previous measurement (negative number if the current measurement is smaller, and positive number if the current measurement is greater than the previous).

The third number shows the difference between the current measurement and the starting measurement you entered when setting the goal (negative number if the current measurement is smaller than the starting, positive number if the current measurement is greater than the starting).

If you have not entered data for a particular day, the cells in that row will be blank.

Starting measurements (i.e. the measurements you entered when you set a goal) are shown in bold type. The date on which a goal was set is also shown in bold type.

To see all the measurements starting from the day when you set your first goal, select the All radio button.

To view the data over a specific time range (for example, for the last week, or month, or a couple of days), select the Time range radio button and choose the From and To dates in the drop-down calendars.

Goals History Tab

Statistics: Goals History

Here you can view all the goals you have set. Weight Loss Program shows you the type of the goal (Weight Loss, Weight Maintain, or Weight Gain), the day when you set it and the due date, the starting weight and the desired weight, and the status of the goal (Goes On, Reached, Failed).
